The new regulations require product labels to detail ingredients, efficacy, suitable groups, and unsuitable groups, prohibit exaggerated advertising, and mandate that registered products provide complete scientific data on safety and effectiveness. Penalties for illegal activities such as false advertising and illegal additions have been intensified, with the maximum penalty including revocation of licenses and criminal liability. Industry insiders stated that refined supervision will raise industry entry barriers, and the market share of high-quality and compliant products is expected to increase.
